WHAT WE’RE BUILDING
Our first world is taking shape.
Wildward Studios is currently developing its debut project: a narrative-driven medieval fantasy experience centered on investigation, exploration, dangerous creatures, and a world filled with mystery.
We want to create a game where knowledge matters, discoveries feel earned, and the player is trusted to observe, investigate, and uncover the truth for themselves.
This is only the beginning. More will be revealed as the world continues to take shape.
WHAT DEFINES A WILDWARD GAME
Different worlds. Different stories. The same philosophy.
WORLDS WORTH EXPLORING
Create rich, believable worlds with history, culture, mystery, and places that reward curiosity. The player should feel encouraged to explore because the world itself is interesting, not simply because an objective marker tells them where to go.
STORIES WITH MEANING
Focus on memorable characters, meaningful conflicts, difficult choices, and themes that give the player something to think about after the game is over. The story should feel purposeful rather than disposable.
DISCOVERY THAT FEELS EARNED
Design gameplay that trusts the player to observe, investigate, experiment, and reach conclusions for themselves. Avoid making the experience feel overly guided or like the player is simply following instructions from one objective to the next.
